Dermaplaning is a superficial form of exfoliation using a medical grade scalpel. It can be performed as a standalone treatment or prior to other skincare treatments to enhance their efficacy. This treatment allows for a smoother makeup application and better absorption of skincare products.
The scalpel is gently glided across the surface of the skin to remove dead skin cells and peach fuzz.
Dermaplaning addresses the outermost layer of the skin with no downtime or healing necessary. Smoother, healthier looking skin is achieved immediately after treatment.
There may be slight redness or a feeling of irritation following treatment, usually subsiding within the first several hours. It’s possible to experience some minor flaking of the skin as the skin continues to exfoliate for a few days after treatment. Customized post treatment instructions will be discussed during your consultation and after treatment has been performed.
